A four-week 1:1 mentorship for tattoo artists finding their own work

You can draw.
Now you need to know what's yours.

You're tattooing, or about to. The hand is there. What's missing is the shape of it: a style you can name, a portfolio that shows it, and a way to run the work that doesn't run you.

You've been calling it "not ready yet." You're ready. You're just unedited.

Who you'd be working with

I'm not a school.
I'm a tattoo artist who spent four years lost,
and found the way through.

I've drawn since I could hold a pencil. I've tattooed for five years, and apart from one month of technique, no one taught me: no school, no apprenticeship. For the first four years the work was there, but the business wasn't. I wandered.

What finally worked was pulling in everything I'd done before tattooing, years at a large webtoon studio and in marketing, and treating my own work like something to be edited and positioned. Then it turned. Now I tattoo across countries, a couple of months at a time, and the people I've helped since were mostly friends who were exactly where you are.

This isn't a technical course. It's four weeks of my eyes on your work, every day, until the work knows what it is.

Everyone says post more.

We decide what's yours first.

Style isn't found by making more. It's found by choosing. We put everything you've made on the table, keep what's yours, and cut what isn't. Then the portfolio builds itself.

Choosing is the start.
Once the work is clear, we go further:
price it, book it, and keep it yours.

Plainly, what it is.

A four-week 1:1 mentorship. Just you and me, on Discord.

  • It starts at Day ZeroBefore week one, you send me everything: drawings, tattoos, your Instagram, what you're stuck on.
I read it all before we talk.
  • One private session a weekUp to two hours, on video, about your work only.
  • Feedback every daySend a design, a caption, a pricing message, a question.
One round of written feedback a day, within 24 hours.
  • Not a technical courseI'll answer technique questions from what I know.
The work here is direction, portfolio, positioning and business.

What you'll actually do.

More drawing won't answer "what is my work." Choosing will.

So each week makes one decision you keep.

  1. 0day zero

    where you are

Everything on the table. I read your work and your answers before we meet, and we set what these four weeks are for.

What you keep: a clear picture of where you actually are

  2. 1week 1 · the tuning

    what you want

We find what you actually want from tattooing, what you love making, and where those two meet. We set the direction for the four weeks, and for the ninety days after.

What you keep: your direction, in one sentence

  3. 2week 2 · the style

    name it

Exercises built for your work: translating your drawings into tattoos that keep their character, deciding what to simplify and what to protect. We write down the three things your work always does.

What you keep: your style, in words and in three pieces

  4. 3week 3 · the business

    run it

How this becomes a living. Positioning, Instagram, pricing, bookings, client messages, and how to market yourself without becoming someone else.

What you keep: a way to run the work that fits you

  5. 4week 4 · the whole

    put it together

We bring it into one: the curated portfolio, the style sheet, and the ninety-day plan. Then we decide what you study next.

What you keep: everything, in one place

And it skips the traps.

No chasing every style you like,
no posting for the algorithm,
no underpricing to be liked,
no waiting until you're "good enough."

What you walk away with.

Not four weeks of my time.

A body of work you can point to,
and the words for it.

Your style sheet

One page: what your work is, what it isn't, and the three rules it follows. Written together, in your words. This one is for you.

A curated portfolio

Nine to twelve pieces, chosen and ordered, with notes on what to make next so the set keeps growing in one direction. This one is for the world.

Your ninety-day plan

Pricing, booking flow, client scripts, and what to study, for the three months after we finish. Built for your situation, not a template.

This isn't for everyone.

It's for tattoo artists in their first years, and apprentices about to start, who can already draw and are tired of guessing what to do with it.

Seats are limited.
I read every application.

Before you ask.

Is this a technical tattoo course?
No. I'll answer technique questions from my own experience, but we spend the four weeks on your artwork, direction, portfolio, positioning and business.
Do I need to be tattooing already?
No. Apprentices and people preparing to start are welcome. If you're already tattooing, we start from where you are, not from zero.
How much time does it take?
One session a week, up to two hours, plus whatever you send me in between. Most people spend a few hours a week on the work itself.
How does payment work?
$800 for the four weeks, paid before we begin. You can split it into two or four payments. Payments are non-refundable once made.
What if my style is nothing like yours?
Good. This is about your work, not mine.

A few seats are open now.
